Super fast service at very convenient prices. Fresh sea food and the “Zarandeado” cooking style. I needed to edit this comment because after some years of my first post everything is still amazing. The best service you can expect in this city. This is a “must” of the local cuisine.

The food was great! But, it does take a while since the place was busy, and the waiter had to be reminded a few times that some of our dishes haven't been brought out. Too bad we didn't have the chance to try the oysters because they ran out at 4 pm we went.

This is the best place to have seafood in Guadalajara’s Metropolitan area. This is a local jewel where families, friends and coworkers gather for a great meal. The grilled shrimps and fish are their stellar meals. Make sure to save space for the ceviches and the soups!

Fish was great. Aguachiles were awesome. Red sauce is very spicy. 420 friendly they have rooftop where they roll you a fattie so you eat more. Secret code is Chivas

Great food. Service is OK but not outstanding. Installations are rustic and could be cleaner. Visit El Zarandeao if you're looking for great and fresh seafood, but don't expect any luxury.

My second time eating at this seafood restaurant and I will be back. The service is fast and courteous and the food is excellent! The oysters on the half-shell were fresh and delicious. You must try the empanadas and the zarandeado is exquisite. As is true with most seafood restaurants in Guadalajara, they close at 6:30pm.
